Taylor Chan is filmmaker based in Los Angeles, California. He’s a partner at Wong Fu Productions, a production company that’s been pushing AAPI storytelling forward for over 20 years. He studied at UC San Diego, where his work with Triton Television and the San Diego Asian Film Festival led him to not only connect with Wong Fu, but find purpose in forging community and belonging through authentic storytelling.

Over the past 10+ years, Taylor has risen from intern to editor to senior director, eventually becoming Chief Creative Officer. He has produced multiple viral sketches and web series, with notable projects including Dating After College (starring Justin H. Min, Umbrella Academy; Olivia Liang, Kung Fu) and Yappie (featuring Dante Basco, Hook; Simu Liu, Shang-Chi).

Today, Taylor continues his filmmaking journey through Wong Fu and independent work as a freelance writer, director, and editor.
